Her work explores the material and formal possibilities of local clay, the same used by the brick manufacturing industry in the city of Córdoba, with the particular premise of working on a larger and less common scale in local ceramics.

Bio

He is interested in showing how a material and an infrastructure used by the industry for specific purposes, scale, and processes can reach entirely different places, demonstrating the possibility of constructing very large pieces with a type of clay typically used for producing serialized and continuous pieces, such as bricks.

These formations emerge from exploring the inherent logic allowed by the material and the very cadence of the work: the unfolding in relation to its moisture, structure, possibilities, and limitations. In this almost meditative process, there is a mimetic intention to replicate the physiognomies of geological formations, the abstract and organic randomness of the landscape, and to imitate the building methods of African ants, potter wasps, and hornero birds, as well as the effects of wind and water erosion.

She has participated in numerous exhibitions, both solo and collective, within and beyond her country.

Currently, she specializes in large-scale ceramic murals and sculptures. She is a member of the ceramic collective Casiopea and the drawing collective Carbonillas Project.
